Burnham-on-Sea lies on the Somerset coast midway between Weston-super-Mare and Bridgwater. Now a popular seaside resort as well as a sought after place to live, Burnham-on-Sea first became a town in Victorian times as wealthy visitors constructed holiday homes along its well known Esplanade. The views across the bay can be exceptional stretching from the Quantocks and Exmoor in one direction to Brean Down (past the famous legged lighthouse) and the south Wales coastline in the other.

Compared to many other similar towns Burnham-on-Sea is relatively un-commercialised and uncomplicated but provides a good variety of amenities.

The championship Golf Links at Burnham and Berrow is well known and other facilities include cinema, indoor swimming pool, tennis club, bowls club and yacht club.

Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge town centres are very well placed for communications with the M5 junction 22 within easy reach. Highbridge, which historically had an important trading wharf and livestock market, also boasts a mainline railway link.

Bristol International Airport is 20 miles.
